This policy explains what information Courtside Advisory (“we”, “us”) collects through courtsideadvisory.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. It covers this website only. Information you share with us after engaging our services is governed by your engagement terms.

Information you give us

When you use our proposal form, we collect the information you enter:

  • Your name and email address
  • Your club’s name and location
  • The sport and stage of business you select
  • Anything you write in the message field

If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider, HostGator, keeps standard server logs, which include your IP address, browser type, the pages you request, and the time of each request.

To prevent spam, our form keeps a one-way (hashed) version of your IP address and the time of your submission for up to one hour. It is then discarded.

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser sends your IP address to Google when the page loads. Google’s use of that information is covered by Google’s Privacy Policy.

We do not currently use cookies, analytics, or advertising trackers.

How we use information

  • To respond to your request and prepare a proposal
  • To check for conflicts of interest before taking on a matter
  • To keep the site secure and prevent spam and abuse
  • To comply with legal and professional obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

How we share information

We share information only with service providers that help us run the site and our email (for example, our hosting and email providers), with the affiliated entities named in our site footer when your request involves their services, and when required by law or professional rules.

No attorney–client relationship

Sending us information through this site does not create an attorney–client relationship. Please do not send confidential information until we confirm in writing that we can take on the matter.

How long we keep information
